I got this face mask to use while riding my motorcycle in cold weather. The fabric is soft which is nice but there is a few inches of fabric higher than the skull print that you have to sort of fold in so it looks right on your face. It also seems to shift on your face as you move around and the fact that it doesnt go over your head earnings that it can start sliding down too. Ordered December 15 and got it January 9th. This facemask is very thin, about as thin as a pair of women's pantyhose. The skull is printed on in cooperation sides (front and in trade) of the mask. The clarification is about two inches too long on top and will need to be any folded over or cut to line up the mask including your face. Ok as a novelty, not for heavy use. For the price & shipping I expected a little more feature than what I expected. It is very thin which makes it conform well without toning the face in an uncomfortable manner. It is not reversible. It is not sewn on the ends, actually it looks unevenly trimmed by scissors, so you have to flip the ends inward to keep it from looking like total crap. I have not tested it a lot but it seems as even if it will fray with smallest use. It was purchased for a companion in Iraq for unadorned and occasional dust safeguard, which I reflect it will do without a problem. If you are looking for love or safeguard from more than dust, I would probably go with the neoprene masks or a well made face/neck gaiter. Maybe if this mask were $5 (price and shipping combined) it would be ok. Otherwise, save your money.

FLORENCE, Italy For years, the fate of Amanda Knox has been in the hands of a succession of Italian courts, called on to determine whether on the night of Nov. 1, 2007, she killed Meredith Kercher, her roommate and fellow foreign exchange student in the university town of Perugia. On Thursday, a court in Florence is expected to present its ruling.

Ms. Knox will not be in the courtroom. She will await the verdict in her hometown, Seattle, where she has been living since an appeals court reversed her murder conviction in October 2011. Last year, the Court of Cassation, Italys highest court, vacated the appellate court ruling and ordered a new trial, which began last fall, propelling Ms. Knox and her former boyfriend and co-defendant, Raffaele Sollecito back into the news.

Nothing will ever take away the experience of being wrongfully imprisoned, Ms. Knox said in an interview last week via Skype, explaining why she chose not to attend, as is her right. It remains that I would be putting myself in the hands of people who very clearly want me in prison for something that I didnt do. And I cant do that. I just cant. No. No way, no how.

The intense media attention that the case has stirred from the day that Ms. Kercher was found dead on the floor of her bedroom, her throat slit, is another reason Ms. Knox decided not to come. (Mr. Sollecito has been present for some of the proceedings.)

She says that her attempts to demonstrate her innocence have been obscured by the medias obsession with her persona a false and misleading portrayal, in her mind and one that could distract the jury from a fair examination of the case.

Ms. Knox said that while her lawyers believed that she was her own best defense, they had advised her not to attend the trial.

They said, If you go to the court, theyre going to be paying attention to you theyre going to be looking at your face, theyre going to be trying to read your gestures, theyre not going to be listening, and that is a huge problem, said Ms. Knox, whose appearance in court became a fixation of the worlds news media during the Perugia trials.

In his closing arguments last week, one lawyer described Ms. Knox as deceitful and diabolical and an explosive mine of sex, drugs and alcohol, telling the jurors that they had no choice other than to convict her.

Im not that person, I am very clearly not that person thats being described, said Ms. Knox, who believes that she can better defend herself through interviews given mostly to Italian and American news organizations, as well as through her 2013 memoir and her blog.

In December, Ms. Knox sought to state her case, and explain her absence, in a letter that was read in court. But Judge Alessandro Nencini said, Who wants to speak at a trial, comes to a trial.

The ages and unfulfilled promise of the protagonists Ms. Kercher was 21 when she died, Ms. Knox and Mr. Sollecito were 20 and 23 when they were arrested amplified the emotional impact of the case and polarized public opinion.

People who accuse me argue that justice cannot be done for Meredith unless I am convicted, Ms. Knox said. Its a mind-set where there are criminals and there are victims, and if youre accused of being a criminal, theres no way you can be a victim.

While Ms. Kerchers family remains convinced of her guilt, Ms. Knox said the Kerchers are so emotionally invested in this that they cant be held accountable for their wrongful ideas about me.

Ms. Knox and Mr. Sollecito were first found guilty of murder in 2009 for their role in what prosecutors described as a drug-fueled sex game that spiraled out of control.

The prosecutions case has hinged on DNA evidence and witnesses linking the defendants to the crime. Another man, Rudy Guede, was convicted, in a separate trial, and sentenced to 16 years in prison. Defense lawyers argue that he was the sole perpetrator, but prosecutors counter that the number and type of Ms. Kerchers wounds could not have been made by only one person.

The prosecutor in this trial, Alessandro Crini, played down the sex-game aspect. Instead, he suggested that the violence was incited by a dispute between the two roommates over the cleanliness of the apartment.

Last week, Mr. Crini urged the court to issue an immediate arrest warrant should Ms. Knox and Mr. Sollecito be convicted. In Italy, rulings must go through a final appeal, and prison time can be held off until it is concluded.

Ms. Knox, who is finishing a degree in creative writing at the University of Washington, says her life has effectively been in a state of suspension. If convicted, she could face extradition, and regardless of the verdict, her legal future will remain in limbo until a final appeal is heard.

No one is safe, no one feels safe, she said. I dont feel safe, and I am here in the United States. I dont know whats going to happen. I dont think that theyre going to convict me. I really dont, because the evidence is not there. But the doubt comes from the fact that I never thought that I would be convicted. And then look what happened.

For the price I was not in the family tree way much. I have bought more high-priced gear for cycling and planning this would be made cheaply and not be warm enough. On the first day I wore it, it was about 30 degrees further than and this neck radiator was able to keep me warm as it is large enough to cover half of my face and my neck. The neck area protrudes far from my real neck.The clarification is thick, but it is very easy to breath owing to, as the nose is open and here are many holes at the backtalk. I got this for Halloween and when it at home it looked SICK. Just like pictured and felt well made and I was so excited for it. Then, I tried it on and was relentlessly disappointed. It does not fit my face, which I planning-out mean. Then all else in my household tried it on and only a few were able to in fact pull it off. If you have a tiny face, and/or are female, then you doubtless will do just fine with this, but anyone else is gonna have to endure it not looking aptly or digging into their skin...if they can get it on at all. Bought this dust mask and tried it out yesterday on the trails. "I like attitude, definitely," Haden said after Wednesday's Pro Bowl practice.

Haden believes the Browns, with six Pro Bowl players, are a candidate for a quick turnaround in 2014. He said someone like Pettine could help get the Browns over the hump.

"A coach can help a lot," Haden said. "I think he is going to bring a mentality. A lot of teams take after their coach. Like the Steelers and (Mike) Tomlin. The way that he coaches is the way they go out there and play. So I think definitely the coach sets the frame for what the team looks like."

Pettine spent last season with the Buffalo Bills. Prior to that he was Rex Ryan's defensive coordinator with the New York Jets.

One of the players Pettine helped coach in New York was cornerback Darrelle Revis. That relationship wasn't lost on Haden.

"That means he knows what a good corner is supposed to look like and I hope I can give him exactly what he wants," Haden said. "I just can't wait to talk to him and see what approach he wants to take with me."

Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon, like Haden, said he didn't know much about Pettine except what he witnessed on the field against the Bills.

"From what I saw when we played them this past season, he's a really good defensive coordinator," Gordon said. "If he is any thing like he is at DC, I'm sure he'll be a pretty good head coach for us. We are glad to have him."

Haden hopes Pettine can help the Browns in one main aspect:

"I'm trying to win some games," he said. "I've been here for four years, this is going to be my fifth year, and I haven't won more than like five games, so my whole thing is just trying to get to the playoffs."

'Flowers in the Attic' Remake Gets the Most Important Thing Right

It may be the second attempt to bring V.C. Andrews' cult classic book to life in movie form, but the Lifetime remake of Flowers in the Atticdoes what its 1987 predecessor refused to do. It gets the story right.

With Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka as Cathy Dollanganger and Mason Dye as her brother Christopher, the Lifetime original movie tells the story of four children locked in their grandmother's attic for years after their father's death. In all three versions, the Dollanganger children learn they're the products of incest -- their mother, Corinne, was the niece of her husband, their father. But the 1987 movie shied away from exactly what made the book so creepy -- and so scandalous.

The Lifetime movie didn't.

Yes, there was incest, and not just through the story of the mother and her uncle.

Kiernan Shipka and her TV brother growing up together in captivity succumb to their baser urges right before our very eyes. Of course, it being Lifetime, the sex between two teenagers, two siblings, is limited to kisses and the sight of the two of them under the covers, Dye's chest bare in a post-coital cuddle.

Thank goodness.

A purist in terms of liking my movies to match my books, I'll admit I didn't need to see any more. Even the kisses themselves were unsettling, no less so because Shipka truly inhabits the role of Cathy Dollanganger.

The incest was, in fact, only the very large tip of the iceberg in terms of returning Flowers in the Attic to Andrews' original creation. Other crucial fixes were made, including a return to the time frame in which Andrews actually set her novel, and faithfulness to the length of time in which the Dollanganger children were held hostage and their means of escape.

Unfortunately, the faithfulness to Andrews' book wasn't enough to make the movie more interesting. Ellen Burstyn as Grandmother Olivia Foxworth makes a mean villain and Heather Graham is sufficiently infuriating as the children's mother, Corinne Foxworth/Dollanganger. But it's hard to pack three years of captivity into two hours -- with commercials -- and truly make you feel the angst of these children wondering if they will ever make it out of that attic alive.

Even the relationship between siblings Cathy and Chris, creepy as it is, lacks the desperation of the teenagers in the book.

With rumors that Lifetime already has a sequel lined up, let's hope they do better the second time around.

Prearranged December 9th and expected January 6th for $3.29 by seller fashion-jewelry. I would say that this mask is Generous-XL in size (referencing baseball hat size). The material is not super thick but keeps my face warm in the thirtyish degree weather. It covers my ears and works well including including a knit beanie. Shortly after the eruption of the second Palestinian intifada in 2000 -- an uprising allegedly, though not actually, triggered by an infamous Ariel Sharon walkabout atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem -- I was visiting Sharons ranch in southern Israel for the harvest holiday of Sukkot. Sharon, who died today at 85 after eight years in a stroke-induced coma, had erected a sukkah -- a temporary open-air hut meant to serve as a symbolic shelter -- that could seat 200 people. He was the leader of the Likud party then, contemplating a run for prime minister, and the sukkah was overflowing with party activists. The mood was celebratory. At one point, a small group of young activists took up a chant: Arik, King of Israel, using Sharons nickname. Many members of the Likud Knesset faction were present. I sat for a while with one of the toughest Likud hardliners, Uzi Landau, who was in a gloating mood.

The Oslo peace process had more or less collapsed by Sukkot of 2000. Ehud Barak, who was then prime minister, had returned to Israel empty-handed from the Camp David peace talks a couple of months earlier. He had offered Palestinian negotiators most of what they said they wanted, but Yasser Arafat, the Palestine Liberation Organization leader, left Camp David without even making a counter-offer. Barak was suffering in the polls, and Sharon saw a chance to strike. I asked Landau, who was one of Sharons key supporters, what he thought about the demise of the peace process. Oslo is Munich, and Arik is Churchill, he said.

Later, I would ask Sharon if he agreed with Landau -- not about the Churchill comparison, but about the notion that Bill Clinton, who convened the Camp David talks, and Ehud Barak, were trying to do to Israel what Neville Chamberlain did to Czechoslovakia. There are people out there who dont understand the true intentions of the Palestinians, Sharon said. I am not one of them. They want to destroy Israel. They want our country.

Flash forward five years. Sharon, now prime minister, was about to do something few people could ever have imagined him doing: He was preparing to unilaterally evacuate the Gaza Strip of all Israeli settlers and soldiers. This was shocking because it was Sharon, as a cabinet minister a quarter-century earlier, who had first planted Jewish settlers in Gaza. He believed, as he had written in his autobiography, that Gaza, which was captured by Israel from Egypt in the 1967 Six Day War, remained indispensably important to Israels security. What will we do once we withdraw from Gaza and find, as we inevitably will, that Arafat or his successors have stepped in and that squads of terrorists are again operating from there into Israel, murdering and destroying? he wrote. What will we do when the Katyusha fire starts hitting Sderot, four miles from the Gaza district, and Ashkelon, nine miles from Gaza, and Kiryat Gat, fourteen miles from Gaza.

Sharon felt a special affection for the Gaza settlers, who in his mind were rough and resilient pioneers serving as a picket line along Israels southern flank. And he had fond memories of fighting terror in Gaza, where he was, for a while, inordinately successful.

Once, we captured a Lebanese fishing boat, he said in the course of a long and nostalgia-filled conversation with me about his fighting days. We filled it with Lebanese food and newspapers and we put our soldiers in it, dressed as Arabs, who spoke Arabic. And they landed on the beach in Gaza, and the Palestinians hid them. They thought they were their people, fugitives. And we were pursuing them ourselves, making believe they were hunted terrorists. The Palestinians took them to meet an important group of terrorists in the northern part of the Gaza district. And when they met them our soldiers killed them. Then they were evacuated out of Gaza. You have to think of things like that. You have to be creative.

Sharons decision to evacuate the settlers of Gaza, and remove the army, was seen by his critics in the Likud, and in the parties to the right of the Likud, as proof that he had gone mad. One of his most caustic critics was Landau, the man who five years earlier described Sharon to me as a latter-day incarnation of Churchill. Arik is making a joke of his party and a joke of his beliefs, Landau told me when I interviewed him shortly before the evacuation. He is destroying himself, destroying his party and destroying Israels security, and for what? So that he will be popular in Europe?

This idea that Sharon had changed in some profound and mystifying way was popular not only with his critics on the right, but even among some of those in the Israeli center, and on the left.

In the coming days you will read that the Gaza withdrawal, and the cleaving of the Israeli right that it triggered -- Sharon and his allies would leave the Likud party, and form their own, Kadima -- represented a reversal of everything Sharon had once stood for. This is wrong: The unilateral evacuation was of a piece with everything he had previously done.

The evidence to support the notion that he had suddenly become a peacenik was superficially compelling. If there has been one theme to Sharons life, it was relentless, aggressive expansion: forward, always forward. I spent enough time with him to know that the manner in which he ate -- he could vacuum up vast quantities of food -- corresponded to the way he conquered territory.

In 1967, as a daring tank commander, he helped secure the Sinai Peninsula for Israel. In the 1973 Yom Kippur War, he led a tank force across the Suez Canal to within striking distance of Cairo. As Israels agriculture minister, and later its defense minister, Sharon oversaw the planting of Israeli settlements not only in Gaza, but also in the far-flung reaches of the West Bank. In 1982, as Menachem Begins defense minister, Sharon focused his attention north, on Lebanon, which had become a base for PLO attacks against Israel. Not content merely to kill terrorists in Lebanons south and go home, Sharon decided he would deal the PLO a fatal blow -- and remake Lebanese politics in the process, by installing a friendly Christian government in Beirut. Israels invasion ended, instead, with the massacre of hundreds of Palestinians by Christian militiamen, under the noses of the Israeli army.

So what changed? What caused a man who moved so relentlessly forward to suddenly reverse course? His view of the Palestinians, and their desires, had not changed at all. In 2000, he told me that, The Arabs dont want the Jews to be here. That is the secret of this whole story. This land we are on is considered by the Muslims to be holy land. They will never let anyone possess it. You should read the Koran. Youll see what they think about the Jews. They want to take this land by violence.

Four years later, he told me more or less the same thing, though in language softened somewhat by knowledge that he was speaking as prime minister, not as the leader of the right-wing opposition. We have a problem with our partner. It is not realistic to think that the Palestinians would agree to stop their war on us if they receive some pieces of territory.

Nevertheless, Sharon by 2005 reached the conclusion that a piece of territory is what the Palestinians would get, without even the hassle of negotiation. Ive decided that it is impossible to keep holding three and half million Palestinians in a situation of occupation, he told me. His use of the word occupation in and of itself was revolutionary -- in the 1990s, he would describe the West Bank and Gaza as liberated territory, not occupied.

What changed was not his heart, not his lifes aim, but his understanding of reality. In his heart, he understood Israels enemies to be implacable. His objective was unaltered: to defend the existence of the Jewish state by any means necessary. For many years, he believed that the existence of the Jewish state was dependent on the occupation of Gaza. But he then came to realize that the occupation of Gaza was undermining Israels democracy, international standing and security. And so he left. He left Gaza for the same reason he invaded Lebanon: He thought it would make Israel safer.

Sharon made one terrible mistake in Gaza. His mistake was not leaving: He grasped, correctly, that over time staying would have been fatal for Israel. His mistake was leaving unilaterally. A negotiated withdrawal -- and there were Palestinians with whom he could have negotiated such a withdrawal -- could have extracted important concessions from Palestinians. Instead, radicals in Gaza were empowered by Sharons unilateralism. They believed, not entirely incorrectly, that their terrorism had paid off, forcing even a legendary warrior like Ariel Sharon to turn tail. The fallout from the withdrawal is well known: Hamas soon came to power and turned Gaza into a launching pad for missile attacks against the towns Sharon long before predicted would be attacked.

And yet, Sharon, through the same force of will that propelled him heroically across the Suez Canal, and sent him deeply and disastrously into Lebanon, did something hugely important for his country: He began to disentangle Israel from the lives of the Palestinians. Settlers will never return to Gaza. That is an achievement.

And it is a lesson for Benjamin Netanyahu, who will shortly surpass David Ben-Gurion as Israels longest serving prime minister. Netanyahu lacks some of Sharons defects, but he also lacks some of Sharons most important positive qualities. He is not a man of action, and this has kept him from launching unnecessary wars. But it has also kept him from acting on what he knows. Netanyahu grasps the same reality Sharon grasped 10 years ago. Continued settlement of the West Bank, and continued entanglement of Israel in the lives of millions of Palestinians, will eventually be his countrys undoing. A way out must be found. It is a good thing that Netanyahu isnt a bulldozer; he would never execute a withdrawal from the West Bank in the sort of precipitous, blundering Sharon-like way that would increase the danger for Israel. But he might never do it at all. If Sharon had not been stricken eight years ago, Israel might today already be out of the West Bank. It is up to Netanyahu now to save the Jewish state.

According to Atlanta Daily World, sources say some highly unusual behavior from the Pink Friday singer led them to believe that she is in fact pregnant.

Insiders told Atlanta Daily World that things between Lil Wayne who already has four children with four different women and Nicki were never serious, so Wayne is now doubting his paternity if the rumors are true.

[Nicki] was just out to have a good time one night, but she got the good time and more, the site says.

[Nicki] has been involved with another [Young Money] crew member and Lil Waynes label mate, Drake. And in July of last year, super producer DJ Khaled, known for screaming We the best! over some of the hottest tracks in the rap game, surprised, well, pretty much everyone when he swore his undying love and proposed to Minaj on YouTube.

Nicki was spotted with a prominent baby bump on Saturday, Jan. 2 while out to dinner with another man.

A name close to my family tree is inane thru breast cancer behavior aptly now. I got this for EITHER the partner (who can wear it as a bandana ... it seems like the partner is left out a lot. But the dark colors are "male" sufficient ... if that makes significance). Also, if a man were responsibility a breat cancer walk, this would be a splendid belt.The one business I will say is that it is a "approximate" cotton, like many bandanas are. Good mask it's just what I needed while riding my Harley Fatboy in the daylight. The mask looks great with my German helmet, straight evil looking as I'm rumbling down my block! I get lots of compliments. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is awaited to the customizations I had to do in order to make it perfect. Initially like with all face masks my goggles or shades fogged up but all you have to do is get approximately scissors and cut around the bottom part of the nostril area on the mask, cut enough so that while wearing the mask just the bottom part of your nostrils are exposed. When you breath outward through your nose there must be no notes blocking because if there is it will send the hot air upwards and fog up your goggles.If you call for too you can also cut around the eye area to make it wider. Besides this the notes is thick and great for cold weather riding. I ordered this and my german helmet and i recieved it in less then a week. I recommend this mask to everyone!

I ordered after sensibly reading reviews about the fitment. I was disappointed since the point itself doesn't allow wearing the mask (by anyone who's tried mine, so far) without idea problems. Even with the product depiction, there isn't any fabric between the eye holes, so the top of the mask is unsupported and droops down into your eyes. This happens regardless of how tight you velcro it at the back. The hook-and-loop closure at the back is about chin or mouth -level, so it can't pull tension on the forehead area.= FAIL
